SAVE HAITI - WE NEED YOUR HELP ALL MONTH!
In a desperate effort to assist the disaster ridden country of Haiti, we have established a website where restaurants, clubs, bars, and athletes from across the United States have offered to generously donate portions of their proceeds from Saturday and all month for "Save Haiti." Save Haiti is a nationwide fundraising drive to benefit Project Medishare's massive medical relief effort on the ground in Haiti.
Each participating business is donating a portion of their proceeds all month, whether it is door cover charges, a percentage of the food and/or beverage revenue, etc. The final decision as to how much each individual venue chooses to donate is up to them. The more money we raise, the more support we can provide to our teams of doctors, nurses, and rescue workers who are working around the clock, performing surgeries and taking care of the sick and wounded during this most critical time in Haiti. We are doing a huge media push Friday and Saturday to promote "Save Haiti" nationally and have television contacts that have already offered to give the story airtime and in print publications such as the New York Times, Sports Illustrated, US Weekly Magazine, The Miami Herald and more.
We have many celebrities already on board endorsing our efforts to “Save Haiti” including Dr. Maya Angelou, Lenny Kravitz, Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Seacrest, Dwyane Wade, Dwight Freeney, Terrell Owens, Samuel Dalembert (Only Haitian-American in the NBA), Alonzo Mourning, Evan Ross, David Lee, Romero Britto, Anthony Shriver, Landon Donovan among others, with many more expected in the coming hours who are all supporting this national fundraising effort.
People from all over the Nation, from all walks of life are banding together to help the people of Haiti in their most desperate time of need.
