Here in the record archive section of the site, Payne reveals how the information gathering process comes together to build a winning product; showing you how it’s done and giving you a better understanding about how sports betting truly works. The reality is most gamblers lose money. In fact, 98% of sports bettors that wager daily, 365-days a year, end up down at year’s end. By joining Payne’s group you will no longer be with the masses, but a part of the elite 2% profiting in the sports betting market annually.
Part of the reason Payne’s clients are successful is the Bank Roll Management principles he employs. It goes without saying this MUST be exercised in combination with information that provides an edge. The Bank Roll Management system is familiar to most sports handicappers, calculating bets and winnings by familiar terminology called the “Dime” scale. Selecting winners is vital, but knowing how to maximize your earning potential is something bettors tend to under-emphasize. You must understand that sports betting is a game of streaks; mitigating losses during lulls is equally imperative as capitalizing while hot, and leaving losers off your card saving a bet + vig is more important than adding a winner. If we could just win 6 of every 11 bets in a pattern to achieve 55% it would make both the mental and money management side of investing in sports easy. We know that’s not the case.
Payne has managed to do that successfully privately since 2004 and publicly since 2007. Payne’s group has provided records from inception of this website, and will continue to do so moving forward. Transparency is vital, and when you win long term there’s never anything to hide. All sports picks are released against widely available lines. Every investment Payne releases is graded and updated on this very records page, win, lose or push. Included in the records portion is our seasonal breakdown in each and every sport.
The rating scale Payne’s group uses is a 1 to 10 scale called “DIMES.” 1-DIME is our least confident investment or a bet that comes with limit constraints. Regular season player props are treated as a “bonus” since they are not widely available, juice fluctuates drastically from book-to-book, and come with substantially lower limits than traditional sides and totals. Super Bowl Props are included. 10-DIMES is our largest investment and are extremely infrequent. Our average released selection since our 2007 launch is roughly 2.2-DIMES.

RULES TO FOLLOW:
*NEVER BET MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE! One of the most important rules in sports betting. Most refer to it as “THE GOLDEN RULE.”
*ALWAYS FOLLOW A BANKROLL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM! This rule might be just as important as the golden rule. There’s no need greed in this business. Bulls make money, Bears make money, Pigs get slaughtered. While cliche, it rings true. Discipline is critical in sports betting because wins and losses typically occur in streaks. The biggest problem is that most bettors get too aggressive during hot streaks and get cold feet during cold streaks. Streaks do not last forever, so stay consistent with your bankroll and NEVER, EVER chase your losses. By design, if you’re wagering a percentage of your bankroll your bet amount changes as your bankroll fluctuates.
*THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LOCK! Another very important rule to keep buried in the back of your head. This also applies to the pressing idea. If you went 4-1 Saturday in College Football, you shouldn’t use that success to justify an ill-advised decision because “it’s a lock”. It only takes one LOCK LOSS for most people to understand this concept. We find it laughable when other sports handicappers call games; “LOCKS”. Now we have to worry about media members, content, and programming using this term. If sports betting was a business where there were no risk involved, wouldn’t everyone be doing it? We all know that’s not the case, and Payne finds professional handicappers continually using this ill-advised term. BEWARE!
*STAY EMOTIONLESS WHEN BETTING! Fandom can blur your vision when wagering. YOU CAN NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN! It hinders your decision-making and in the end, your bias towards certain teams will lose you money. There’s a fine line between specializing and being a homer. You must look at each game with a clear mind and weigh your decision using logic, information, matchups, price etc. – not based upon your love for teams, but upon the bottom-line facts. When people ask, “Who is your favorite team?” My response is always; “The team that makes me money.” I don’t know about you, but the only team logo on my money is Ben Franklin’s team. My loyalty is with my bankroll.
*YOU MUST BE CONFIDENT! Understand there will be losing days, weeks, and yes…the occasional losing month. The goal is to have winning YEARS. If you can’t handle this fact, then sports betting isn’t for you. Encountering streaks that are good and bad is common. There are times when you’ll lose 4 days in a row and things feel like they couldn’t get worse. Remain confident! We see this happen too often; bettors lose multiple days in a row and you forget how you got to this point, or the track record established annually. When cold streaks occur – and inevitably, they will – sit back and relax, refocus, and jump back in with a rational mind. Realize how you got to this point, and most importantly embed it into your head that you are never as bad as your 0-3 days, and never as good as your 4-0 days.
